At the Hassan II International Center for Environmental Training, Bouknadel, Morocco, September 19-October 1, 2025.
Recognizing that adaptation metrics must be practical and context-specific, not just technical, IPAM developed a reference paper on key gaps and challenges for presentation at COP30 in Belém.
Organized by the AAA Initiative (serving as IPAM secretariat) and its sponsoring partners, a three-day international conference took place at the Hassan II International Center for Environmental Training, in Bouknadel, (15 km from Rabat). It convened global experts to workshop the paper's chapters. Participants received guiding questions one week prior and engaged directly with IPAM experts to refine the document.
The conference successfully positioned IPAM as a key contributor to GGA implementation, ensuring country-driven, context-sensitive approaches shape the global adaptation metrics architecture.
